SUMMER FUN!
The beach area ok Khabarovsk has two faces. Summer is a time to cool off, play beach volley ball, and ride the water taxi. Winter time finds the beach area deserted with unbareable cold and winds, yet ice fishermen venture out far into the ice covered waters in hopes of a fresh fish dinner. When we were there in Decemeber, the winds were so brutal we could only tolerate them long enough to take a quick video clip of the fisherman. There were probably one-hundred men on the water that day!
