MOGLEY
PLAY
CENTER

Mogley.....ahhhhhhhh Mogley!

If you are adopting a child from crawling age and up, Mogley is a must! When compared with our standards, and all our indoor play centers offer, Mogley wouldn't rate to high on the list. Compared to other activities available to families with youngsters traveling BEYOND SIBERIA in the dead of winter, Mogley is a life saver.

We were fortunate.  On our first trip to Khabarovsk, we were invited to take Roman to Mogley.  Most families are only allowed visits with their child on the grounds of the baby home, but our coordinator was also the assistant director of the baby home number 1, and I'm sure that was the only reason we were offered an off grounds outing.

Mogley, named after the main character inv Jungle Book has the over head climbing apparatus found in US play centers, as well as small slides, computer games and a karaoke machine  (there were about 6 computers when we were there in 2000). Mogley has indoor play houses for the younger set as well as building blocks, and small riding toys.

On our second trip, we probably went to Mogley almost every day for a couple of hours.  Roman, then 4.5 years old, just had a blast there, and it was
so nice to have space and toys available to us.  Mogley has a small snack bar, and the fee is a few dollars per hour.  We were able to walk to Mogley from the Central Hotel in about twenty minutes (with child in stroller of course).
Here's our little man, with our translator, Natasha, who we fell in love with.
